The man named Binod Tharu came into limelight when YouTubers, Gautami and Abhyudaya whose YouTube channel is by the name 'Slayy Point' made a video on 'Indians in YouTube comment sections'. While addressing the comment section he found a user named Binod Tharu who just commented 'Binod' in the comments section. Later, after, the name became a brand in itself, every user on YouTube started commenting Binod.

Even Paytm ended up with a hilarious response to the memes. Actually, a Twitter user @GabbbarSingh asked Paytm to change its name to Binod,
