Coronavirus is a large family of viruses that may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. (Source: WHO)
As per reports, coronavirus spread like a wildfire from a food market in Wuhan, China in December 2019. The market was illegally selling animal which was hazardous when consumed. Over 90,000 has been infected with this deadly virus and has killed over 3,000 people worldwide.
Here's how to prevent from Coronavirus (COVID-2019):
1. Frequently clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap.
As advised, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, which increases the chance of killing almost all the germs.
2. When coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with hands or tissue; immediately throw the tissue away and wash hands.
3. Don't get your eyes, mouth, and nose in contact with your hands without washing it.
4. Before having your meals, wash your hands and even use the sanitizer before touching your food.
5. Clean your mobile, car keys, specs, pen, pencil, water bottle, tiffin, etc, as they have high chances of getting touched by a person who might have symptoms of the virus.
6. And, Don't share towels or even cigarettes (WARNING: CIGARETTE SMOKING IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH) with anyone.
7. Avoid close contact with anyone that has a fever and cough. Usually, 1-meter distance is preferred.
8. Smoking, Taking traditional herbal remedies, Taking self-medication are following measures which ARE NOT effective and can be harmful.
