First date is always something you remember. With all the pressure that comes along to the experience you get, all of it is a date excitement and important.
Dates are always fun especially when it's your first time. You want to look your best and you practice lines in front of the mirror and all of that which they show in movies and that's great enthusiasm, but trust me, reality is a bit different and here are some first date tips you should note on how to be confident on your first date:
We are familiar with the idea of the type of person we would want to go out with but remember not all first dates are perfect. Some are beautiful while some teach you something. Stay open-minded and allow the other person to enter into your league.

If you're not a very talkative person than think about certain topics to casually converse about so that you don't have to go through the 'awkward silence' phase. Just keep it going and be genuine. Don't fake.
This reflects on what you wear, how you walk and talk. Don't try to be all fancy to impress him because people come to know and it's just a big turn off. Nobody wants to date a person who is 'trying' to not be herself. So take a deep breath, live in acceptance of who you are and portray yourselves confidently.
Your date is a human too, and everybody likes a little entertainment. Be humorous, don't be shy to crack your lame jokes, who knows he might fall for one of them!

Please smell good. Everybody appreciates a good body scent and it just makes you more attractive without any efforts. It shows you take care of your body and consider others around you too.
It's okay to be and look nervous. It's a part of 'first dates' that you can't skip. It brings along its own set of excitement and 'that' feeling in the stomach and it's important because what else will you tell your friends about later?
There's always a level up to getting attached so don't pretend otherwise. Be mature and avoid negative energy around you. Go with a positive mind and heart and be lively. Make the other person feel nice and he'll do the same for you and it won't be a bad experience. Obviously, say NO to your ego.

Genuinely complimenting or appreciating the other person always helps and hurts no one. Be rational, learn to receive compliments too and don't be shy to appreciate too much. Everybody likes to hear good things about themselves. Just please don't be fake.
YOU GO, GIRL! Carry your best self and don't forget to be presentable. Keep it light, ask questions, don't hurt his sentiments by any chance and don't be shy to cheat on your diet that day. It's allowed. ;)
