Born and brought up in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nikki Tamboli is a South Indian model and actress. Her father's name is Digambar Tamboli and mother's name is Pramila Bodkhe Tamboli. Nikki belongs to a Christian family.

In an interview, she also shared what her parents had to think of when she first told that she was entering the Bigg Boss house, she said, "My dad was a little surprised because he was like bed-sharing nahi karna chahiye. He was scared, but it is a part of a game. It is fun. So my mother and brother made my father understand. So now, they are very happy and looking forward to seeing me on the show and they are excited as well."

And she also shared that she was way too excited and happy because she has been a huge fan of Bigg Boss, she was pretty sure that she would get selected for the show.
