Orion Span, the US-based space technology startup announced the Aurora Station project on Thursday at the Space 2.0 Summit in San Jose, California.
They are planning to welcome their first guest by 2021. The station will host 6 people at a time(including 2 crew members). The cost of this 12-day luxury trip is whopping 9.5 million dollars, in Indian currency, it will be around Rs. 62 crores.
Our goal is to make space accessible to all. Upon launch, Aurora Station goes into service immediately, bringing travelers into space quickly and at a lower price point than ever seen before.
The 12-day trip will be full of enjoyment, experiments, and an adventure-filled journey. The super-rich guest will be flying 200 miles/321 kilometers above the earth surface or you can say in a Low Earth Orbit.
Before Takeoff, the Guests will be completing a three month Orion Span Astronaut Certification (OSAC) program.
