In A Survey, India Is The Most Dangerous Country For Women. Is This What We Want?

We are living in a Re-Public country, not the Rape-Public country. There is a big difference between these two terms. Just because of some monsters roaming freely in the country, the whole country has been put to shame.

In the newest survey(548 experts were asked) done by Thomson Reuters Foundation, India has topped the chart as the most dangerous countries for women.

According to this perception poll, Currently, the top 5 worst countries for women in the world are:

1. India
2. Afghanistan
3. Syria
4. Somalia
5. Saudi Arabia

In 2011, this similar type of survey was conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and that time India was fourth in the ranking charts.

The world's five most dangerous countries for women in 2011 were:

1. Afghanistan
2. Congo
3. Pakistan
4. India
5. Somalia

Out of 193 United Nations member, different countries are ranked on the basis of, "the worst for healthcare, economic resources, traditional practices, sexual and non-sexual abuse, and human trafficking".

Well!! After seeing these terrified record for the country, the polls clearly shows, India have not made enough efforts to prevent our women against such evil crimes. Each day we have to hear such news which makes us feel sad. Even after 70 years of our independence, we are still struggling to find measures to safeguard our country womens.

Tops the list, with levels of violence against women still running high, more than five years after the rape and murder of a student on a bus in Delhi sparked national outrage and government pledges to tackle the issue.
India ranked as the most dangerous on three issues - the risks women face from sexual violence and harassment, from cultural and traditional practices, and from human trafficking including forced labor, sex slavery and domestic servitude.

Officially, as Reuters polls said, we are now the worst country in terms of women safety. I hope this has definitely not came as a disturbing element for Indians, afterall we already knew what is happening in our country, it's just a matter of fact Reuters officially declared it.
