For those asking, yes, these changes came about in part due to our settlement with Getty Images this week (see also https://t.co/a5uFldOcih). They are designed to strike a balance between serving user needs and publisher concerns, both stakeholders we value.

This means from now people will not be able to download images conveniently like earlier we used to do.Earlier, we used to search for images and then right click on the image and do save as image, But from now you have to visit image owner website and then you can download the image from there.
Google wants to play a fair game for those websites also who produce those images, because a normal user search for images and download it without visiting those websites who are hosting those actual images.
Ultimately, Google Images is a way for people to discover information in cases where browsing images is a better experience than text. Having a single button that takes people to actionable information about the image is good for users, web publishers and copyright holders.

From now, we will see a simple button where user can see a demo of the image and to get the full information about that same, we have to visit the producer website.
Addition to this, Google has also removed the "search by image" which used to appear when you want to search any particular photo. Yes it's just a minor change they did b'coz you can search the image by dragging the photo to the search bar.
Let's see how people will react to this.
