Hello there all you Banno ki saheli's, now that your banno is flying to a new nest finding a styling partner for you is another quest. But banno ki saheli you can be our guest and with this one being the last of the rhyming words here is how take inspiration from the best and by best we mean the none other than the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018 with top bridal wear designers in the country.
The clothes are changing. Bright colors & anarkalis have given way to tassels and shararas, and greys and whites. If you're still in last season's clothes, it's time to revamp your wedding wardrobe, a lot of whites, minimalism, frills, the use of silk, flowing lehenga skirts etc, and a stray from heavy designs.

Lehengas are all bomb and fun but you are also the banno ki saheli and have tons of responsibilities and now where do you keep your phone or car keys? Simple, pockets!
Tired of posing in the same old cliche' way in lehengas? Try something much cooler. Add pockets!
If everybody else is wearing a lehenga but you woman wants to stand out out the crowd then put them shararas on gal!
Your mum told you about a so and so market that has the best lehengas and your massi told you about one more but even after going through all these markets, again and again, you could not find your pick.
It is not your mum neither the markets but the different aesthetics we have, the instagram and vogue aesthetics that we rave but do not find them without paying a bomb price. But who says you have to have the exact same, ha?
Take inspiration and create your own.
Surf down the entire instagram, look for #shaadibymariott to begin with and Bridal fashion week 2018 and look for fabric and a darzi, that's all mate.

Payal Singhal has done us, girls, a huge favour, when everybody goes desi with their attempted Sabya aesthetics you can look like a million bucks with the plain gorgeous silver ensemble.
Known for his saris, Gauran Shah gave us some pretty options on the runway. This pastel blue pick was our favourite for brides to add to their trousseau.
Did not Swara Bhaskar look hot AF as well as badass at the same time in Veere di Wedding?
Then why not you?
Try it on, play more!

One more thing in the movie Veere di Wedding that was used extensively were the handicrafts, lambani, bandhni, gota pati, kalamkari and it is an Indian wedding so why not carry our natural spirit?
Invest in hand-painted Kalamkari or hand stitched Lambani.
The another plus point with Lambani is the jewelry, rugged silver-oxide jewelry with tribal aesthetics. This will be a lot of search and effort but not everybody can have it.
