Abhishek Upmanyu is an Indian Standup Comedian and YouTuber. He was born in a middle-class family. He completed his schooling at St. Xavier's High School, Chandigarh and A.K.S.I.P.S, Chandigarh. After that, he did BE in chemical engineering from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He was sharp-minded from his childhood days and always used to crack jokes to entertain others. After graduation, he had done jobs in well-reputed companies and after that, he switched to Stand-up Comedian as his career.

Professional life:

Before choosing his career in standup comedy, he worked as an intern Engineer Trainee. In 2009 he worked as an intern with Ranbaxy in Gurgaon and then in 2010, he worked at Engineers India Limited in New Delhi and joined many other companies till 2016.

He uploaded his first comedy video 'Indian insults, parents, and their comebacks' on 8 January 2017. It crossed 20M+ views on YouTube.

His comedy shows Thoda Saaf Bol' and 'Jealous of Sabjiwala' gained popularity so much. After coming into fame as a comedian, Abhishek did many stand-up comedy shows at the national and international levels. Abhishek Upmanyu proved that engineers can also be great comedians.

He was a writer for the show "On Air AIB".
