Ten, I know is still an injustice and there are numerous others registered on the list of "fake promise" list. From the first bribe offered to you to finish your meal to every month "negotiation" of your pocket money, sit back one fine morning and contemplate of the number of times you've been brutally betrayed.

1.THE EUROPE TRIP

The one trip they've promised you since when? When you started speaking? And how many times has it actually worked? Almost always, right?

Get up now. Call them! Awaken their soul of this lie they've been telling!

2.YOUR DREAM BIKE

THE ONE BIKE you've wanted all your life!

The one you set your wallpaper, the one you browse about all the time and you've seen like every color and have already rode it a hundred times in your dream! Yup, that's the one I'm talking about. Now just think of all the things they got done from you for that!!!

3.MORE LOVE THAN YOUR SIBLING

Like this would ever happen!

That one person ruining all your favors (And only you have the right to say so or you'll bash out the tooth if someone else says anything about them)! And this happens always with you only.

Just when you sit and think if were found stray in a bin or something.

4.STUDY WELL THIS YEAR. THEN IT'D BE FINE!

That one year, that never occurs in the past.

Standard 6- It's the base. Study hard this time.

Standard 7- It's quite tough. Study harder!

Every Year! EVERY YEAR! You fall trap to it! And yet you believe it the next time!

7.NO STUDY DAY

Seriously, they did promise this to you?

Well, this day came or not I don't know but if you're in school, I don't think there'd be a day when they won't tell you to study!

8.MOM'S FAVORITE SAREE

You have got your eyes on it since your school time!

The school fest, the farewell or the cousin's marriage, you draft quite a convincing proposal and it gets rejected, every damn time!

Give some stress on your brain girl! Think of new ways. "Where there is a will there is a way!"

9.MORE POCKET MONEY

Next month sure!

And which is the next month BTW?

THE Threshold amount you keep, there has to be a bargain! Well, if they aren't too meherbaan on you won't get your demand fulfilled so easily though there'd always be a promise for the next time!

10. DAD'S EXPENSIVE WATCH

Now you know, that'd surely take that girl's heart and all your friends would like wooo! But your parents do know this as well and they do also know you aren't yet eligible for this legacy!
