UP Malls Are Open But Inside Shops To Remain Close. Mazak Ho Raha Hain Kya?

Unlock 1: From 8th June 2020 India ends the lockdown by allowing malls, restaurants and other businesses to open.

Uttar Pradesh too followed the central government proposal by allowing the malls to open.

But due to nationwide lockdown and businesses failing to cope up with the crisis, the traders association, Adarsh Vyapar Mandal wants the mall owners to show some leniency in the rents and maintenance fee. (Source: aninews)

As per the trader body's decision, all shopping malls of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow will open but all shops inside the malls will remain closed.

On account of disagreement between traders and mall owners, it has led to malls in the state to remain open and the shops inside it to remain closed.

The demands made by the traders do not go well with the owners of the mall, hence they did not agree to it which left the traders with no option but to continue to close their shops.

Adarsh Vyapar Mandal state President, Sanjay Gupta while talking to ANI News said:

"Customers are few and the shop keepers will not register good sales. If they are asked to pay huge amounts as rent, they will end up suffering more losses."
