Shehzad Deol was a contestant and a finalist in MTV Ace of Space. While entering the Bigg Boss 14 and during the premiere, he was given a task by Salman Khan to impress the co-contestant Sara Gurpal, but while proposing Sara, his innocence or shyness messed things for him, as he compared her with a duck (Batak).

Before going inside the Bigg Boss house, he had an exclusive talk with DNA, he revealed that he likes Shehnaaz Gill a lot, she was his favourite contestant in the previous season. He added that he loved the way Shehnaaz Gill entertained and Sidharth Shukla completely took over the screen. "However, Shehnaaz takes the cake because she's from Punjab and truly she was very spontaneous and entertaining", he said.

Actor Jimmy Shergill and Sargun Mehta encouraged him to try modeling and Punjabi movies. So he listened to their advice and later, he worked as an assistant director in Punjabi movies like Shareek and Jindua. He is quite a popular face among the youths of Punjab.
He had also featured in a music album, Punjabi Mutiyaar by Jasmine Sandals in 2020.
