Actor Sidharth Shukla passed away today due to a massive cardiac arrest. He was 40.

According to reports, Shehnaaz Gill was shooting in Mumbai before she got the news about Sidharth's death, as soon as she got to know about the tragic news, she left her shoot in the mid-way to support his family.

Spotboye talked to Shehnaaz Gill father (Santokh Singh Sukh) in Punjab, he said that he spoke to Shehnaaz Gill and she is not fine. Her brother Shehbaaz has left for Mumbai to be with her. Adding, he cannot believe whatever has happened and was not in a state to talk further.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz were very close friends. There Jodi was so much well liked that sometimes they were compared to Romeo and Juliet. There were rumours that the duo had been dating, but they always said they are good friends.

Sidharth who rose to stature from popular shows and movies like Balika Vadhu, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Khatron Ke Khiladi. He was also the winner of the reality show, Bigg Boss 13.

Sidharth Shukla is survived by his mother and two sisters. May he rest in peace.
