The film is based on the biography 'My Little Epiphanies' of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who died in 2015 at the age of 18 after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis

The Sky Is Pink movie stars Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The movie is based on the love story of a couple, and daughter, and the tragic twists when they get to know about their daughter Aisha Chaudhary who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The Sky is Pink movie revolves around the family, how they overcame the stress and lived happily for their daughter, Aisha.
