Instagram is considering to hide the like counter on posts, which means, the audience will not be able to see how many likes an individual post got. The likes will be visible only to the person who posted a photo.

The feature was spotted by code hunter Jane Wong:

The reason to implement this can be: the company wants people to focus more on the content rather than running for the numbers.

I don't know how people will survive this massive change. Now that it might be happening soon, I am hoping, people who were focusing more on numbers will not feel "Soona Soona."
