College life is a buffet, yes, of course, all of us miss our school lives, but when we were in school, we were always protected. We might not have felt it back then, but there were teachers and parents and everybody else taking charge of us. In college, we are mostly on our own. In schools, our friends are also looking after our backs, but it takes time to build such a bond in college, till the time you have not found such people in college, life feels tough. While some days you enjoy the newfound freedom, new friends, and the entire idea of a new life, on another day you feel troubled inside thinking "what next?". College is real, school is fun and that is the truth. If you would have studied in a professional college you would have known how competitive everybody is. From day 1, everybody is preparing you for the worst. The preparation is mandatory, but where does the benefit of doubt suddenly go? You want to build the strongest friendships, but then your friends are your competitors too. How do you make peace with that?
This is the most heart-breaking point of college life, everybody acts like your friend, but not everybody is your friend. When you are in a dilemma, you retort to your friends because that is how we are wired, to rely on your friends. But what if your friends do not want the best for you and tell you to do something that is not beneficial for you? This has happened to us all and will happen to you all. Eventually, with time you will learn and be able to tell the difference between the two.
While fake friendship is a reality, as is a true bond. Yes, amid all the madness and insanity, you will find one person or maybe two, and if you are lucky 3-4 people who genuinely care for you and ensure that you do right by yourself. It takes time to find the good stuff, do not lose hope.

If you have studied in professional colleges, you know what we are talking about, especially for the ones who studied something creative. You want to deliver the best, but your 60 year-old faculty has not evolved past their own era and cannot process your ideas and ends up giving you fewer marks. Truth being told, you can compensate for bad marks, but never for bad work.
Some students have to take education loans to go through college and they constantly feel the pressure to do good and study well, but then they are worried about not living life to the fullest. Where else will you get to be this carefree in life if not in college?
See, some people in schools also thought that they found their true loves, but then those people eventually moved on, the same is with college. Nothing is guaranteed; do not invest your heart in anything.

Health is ignored in college the most, yes, even more than education and academics. Not only in terms of partying, but not waking up on time or not eating right. It causes several issues later in life.
When you are away from home, you can do whatever you want or take charge and be your own guardian. There are pros and cons to each. Be wise, choose wisely.
Not everything is permanent, and that includes failure. Yes, you might have failed a test, not secured a good internship or the best package, but the future is subjective, it is constantly changing. You give your best and wait for the best to happen to you.
If anybody tells you that being famous in college is relevant, then again, nothing lasts forever. It is a roadmap to self-destruction because of the need for constant validation. Be consistent, be good, fame and everything is secondary and if you want to be famous, be famous in your industry, there are benefits there. College does not matter. There is some queen be and fake king solely famous because of their looks or money, and literally, every batch in every college has somebody like that and can you even count how many colleges does the earth have?
